Description

The number of aging Americans is growing—and as the population grows, so will the need for long-term care. Finding coverage for long-term care in America is problematic, however—Medicare and private insurance companies all have significant gaps that Long-Term Care insurance policies are designed to cover.

As an agent or producer selling Long-Term Care insurance, the stakes are high. Sell the wrong policy, and your customers could fail to get the coverage they need. Seniors and their families in this position often must take drastic measures to fund their care options, such as selling a house or cashing in on a retirement account. An insurance agent can help protect seniors and their families with a thorough understanding of the laws, regulations, and market that affect their customers.

This course satisfies national requirements for four-hour LTC insurance continuing education. It’s designed for Life and Health agents seeking a refresher on the most recent changes in Long-Term Care insurance regulations and market factors. Topics covered include:

  • Long-Term Care insurance: what it is, and what it covers.
  • Ethical sales of LTC insurance.
  • Suitability of policies.
  • Government-sponsored and alternative funding options.
  • Partnership programs.

Increase your knowledge of LTC while satisfying continuing education requirements. This course is available in convenient online format, allowing you to study on your own time—and test when you’re ready. Test-takers will receive results immediately after completion. Download this course today—and fulfill your commitment to ethical and informed sales of Long-Term Care insurance to your customers.
